Hit refresh. Will continue to update...

** Gus Malzahn: Sean White is Auburn’s starting quarterback.

** Carl Lawson’s injury more serious than 1st thought, out for extended period, hope to have him back this season.

** Very good MSU team at home. Their QB is one of better players in college football. They have a lot of guys back on defense. DC Manny Diaz is very unique.

** Have to do what's best for team and offense each week.

** Excited to see Sean White. Has air of confidence. Can flat out throw it and can run it too.

** Sean White is starter now. Not sure if Jeremy will play.

** Putting first three games in rear view mirror, looking forward to Miss St.

** Possible to have personnel changes on defense.

** Jonathan Wallace and Jason Smith could get reps at quarterback. Both will continue to play WR.

** Hoping Lawson won't require surgery. "He's disappointed. He's a great competitor. He's our defensive leader. He's worked extremely hard to get back."

** Wants to define roles better at running back. In response to keeping Malzahn saying he wants to keep all four happy, Malzahn said keeping all four motivated would be a more accurate statement.

** The team and both QB's have already been told of the decision to start White.

** On the QB change: "It's more of what's best for the offense right now."

** Malzahn believes they can run the football, need to be more consistent. Believes they can be more efficient in the passing game with White.

** Coaches expect Sean White to play well against MSU.

** There are some individual, isolated things involving effort against LSU that are being addressed by staff.
