** Kevin Phillips won punting job, had a very good fall camp. Ian Shannon worked as a punter and kicker during camp. Daniel Carlson has had a very good camp as a kicker.
** Tre Williams is a smart guy and knows both inside LB positions. ILB's rotated a lot during camp and expects the same this fall.
** Roc had a good spring and fall camp. Will be first out there but other two guys will play. Roc has gotten bigger, kept his speed, more comfortable in the offense.
** Ryan Davis reminds Gus Malzahn of Marcus Davis as a freshman Understands the offense.
** Feels good about depth at receiver following loss of Burton.
** Left guard: Kozan and Danzey have done outstanding job and deserve to play. Unique situation. Will both play against Louisville.
** Austin Golson smart, tough, did a good job during camp. Malzahn also pleased with backup Zavier Dampeer.
** Jalen Harris: Malzahn impressed how physical he's been as a true freshman. His blocking has stood out.
** Freshmen need to grow up early and contribute.
** Mike Horton a very good player. Will keep getting reps in practice. Will decide redshirt question after first few games.
