** Offense has become real difficult. Defended pretty well at UGA. Rebounded well in 2nd half.
** Cinmeon Bowers and Tyler Harris are leading assist guys playing right now.
** Tennessee is deep in backcourt players. Will be a challenge.
** Bowers did a pretty good job setting up players for good shots that were missed. He's better on the break than half court.
** New Williams played point for the first time since the preseason. He played pretty well. Patrick Keim played more at point guard too. Plans to play all three at point against Tennessee.
** Kareem Canty is suspended indefinitely. Won't play at Tennessee Tuesday. Not practicing with the team right now. Pearl doesn't want to go into details.
** Canty's suspension is more serious than Bowers' was last week.
** On Canty, Pearl talked about inconsistent attitude that led to conduct detrimental to the team. Situations get more difficult when you're not winning.
** Has just three scholarship guards left for three positions. "It's challenging. I've never experienced anything quite like this. Recruiting is going well. We have help coming."
** Pearl was with Tj Dunans this morning in rehab. Still working on quad strength. Has to get better than what it was before he hurt knee.
