Old timer question start at paragraph 3, for those you who don't want to read my late night ramblings.

Being a bit daft I had a few delusions in college, ala Chris Porter, knowing of Barkley from an NBA and historical perspective I thought we were about to start our rightful decent to the top of the round mound of basketball blue bloods. LOL Leave me alone, I've already copped to being an idiot.

Fast forward to the end of Tony Barbee I had accepted that AU basketball could not consistently be competitive. I thought the arena was a waste and no coarch worth a sh$at would ever come. If we ever caught lighting in a bottle by hiring an up and coming assistant he'd bolt.

1. Did you think AU could ever get and maintain this level of success? What did you see as a reasonable ceiling?
2. Do you think the University, PTB etc care enough about basketball to make sure it stays competitive when Bruce retires?
3. Do you think Bruce, facilities, and the fans could turn this into a destination job?
4. If Bruce didn't fall into our lap, where do you think we are right now?
5. Looking back over the years do you feel the AU basketball culture has not only changed but finally "arrived"?.

Maybe it's the maker's, maybe I'm just tired but I don't want to go back to pre Bruce. EVER!

Thank you basketball Jesus for giving us Bruce, now football Jesus give us Hugh!
