Would appreciate some advice from anyone who has had experience with this or any car salesmen/lawyerly types who might know.
My father passed away last month and as a result my mom is wanting me to take the lead in selling his SUV. Vehicle is paid off and both his and her names are listed on the title.
A: Would I have to have the title changed over to my name in order to sell it or can I just have her sign the title and show death certificate to buyer?
B: If I have to have the title changed over to my name would I be able to do that in Alabama if I'm a Georgia resident?
