BATON ROUGE, Louisiana – “Not at all”
Asked directly if he would be upset if the Auburn coaching staff took the starting job away from him, those are the three words quarterback Jeremy Johnson chose to say.
Johnson, who finished a third straight disappointing outing with two turnovers, said he wouldn’t have a reaction if Auburn turned to redshirt freshman backup Sean White.
“I won’t react no way,” Johnson said about the potential of a quarterback change.
Johnson had just 141 total yards (100 passing and 41 rushing) in a 45-21 loss at LSU Saturday. It is the third straight game the Montgomery native has had multiple turnovers in a game. Johnson looked overwhelmed from Auburn’s first drive during an embarrassing moment when the football slipped out of his hand and caused an 11-yard loss on the fumble.
...JESUS....does this sound like a guy who needs to be leading the team??? This sounds like a guy who has given up, has no confidence, and honestly couldn't care less.
JJ is beyond apathetic and it's affecting the team. I knew he sucked on the field...but it appears his attitude sucks just as bad. If you disagree...please feel free to flame away (b/c I'll just laugh at you)
