This year’s annual golf tournament benefitting Prescott House is just a month away.
Thanks to the kindness and generosity of @Fergie1220 this year the tournament will be help at Greystone Legacy. A fantastic course and home of the SEC Women’s Golf Championship for many years.
As many of you know, Prescott House is a Child Advocacy Center in Jefferson County Alabama. Their purpose is to offer help and restore hope to children in our community who have been physically & sexually abused. They come along side these children and walk them through the process, all the way through the court system and beyond. They offer personal and family counseling as well as doing the forensic examination interviews with n a non threatening environment to lessen the trauma these children can undergo between police, DHR & the DA’s office. The work they do is incredible and it has been life changing for thousands of children.
The Bunker has been incredibly generous over the years and I’m hoping this will be no different. A number of members here are involved with Prescott House from being board members to helping with the Bourbon Charity that has raised $1,000s for PH.
Below are the details of this years events. They are still looking for both players and sponsors. If you can do anything to help, I promise you, your contribution will be directly used to help restore hope to children who’s lives have been shattered.
