A lifelong friend and Auburn man was killed in a horrific accident on Hwy. 77 today in Talladega when another 18 wheeler crossed the median and hit him head on. My friend was hauling fuel and his truck exploded.
Before I moved to Maryland, he and I did Auburn football everything. Can’t tell you how many road trips for away games and bowl games we went on — and of course we rarely missed a home game — for the better part of a decade.
