Good morning Bunk. I need some good thoughts and prayers shot our way if you can spare them. My wife had a stroke in 2014 causing a dissected vertebral artery (only in her late 20s at the time). No major damage and she recovered well. But obviously we are always very careful now. She has always suffered from migraines also. Last night she told me her left arm, left foot and part of the left side of her neck & face was numb. We went to the ER and the CT was basically clear but the radiologist said there may be something in her brain that could be vasculitis, or it could be nothing. This was just from the radiologist and ER doctors, because they have no staff neurologist (thanks a lot Fairhope—I thought you were supposed to be fancy), so they released her with a steroid pack and we are going to either try to get into see a neurologist locally today, or just drive to Pensacola to the Sacred Heart ER, because I know they have neurologists there.
Didn’t sleep but a few hours last night and I am just a nervous wreck. Waiting for the neurologist office to open so I can call. Fingers crossed it is nothing like she thinks (she has had migraines manifest themselves oddly before), but the uncertainty right now sucks. So any prayers or good thoughts would be very much appreciated.
The Bunker is a a giant mess and we are all degenerates, but it never fails that it turns into a kind and caring place when something really matters. So thanks in advance.
