We were able to see a full 55 minutes of practice (WOW!) today as Hugh Freeze allowed us to enter the practice field early following his press conference.

Here are some notes:

Starting OL

Tate Johnson, Dillon Wade, Gunner Britton, Avery Jones, Jeremiah Wright

2nd Team

Gunner Britton, Tate Johnson, Dillon Wade, Avery Jones

3rd team

Garner Langlo, Colby Smith, Connor Lew, E.J. Harris, Izavion Miller

Of course, this is just for right now and for certain reps so not much should be read into this along with the quarterbacks.

FIRST TEAM OFFENSE

T.J. Finley, Jarquez Hunter, Tyler Fromm, Ja'Varrius Johnson, Camden Brown, Nick Mardner

SECOND TEAM OFFENSE

Robby Ashford, Damari Alston, Koy Moore, Omari Kelly, Rivaldo Fairweather

Holden Geriner worked with Sean Jackson, Whit Johnson, Jay Fair and Micah Riley-Ducker

DEFENSE

First Team

DJ James, Jaylin Simpson, Keldric Faulk, Marcus Harris, Jeffrey M'ba, Robert Woodyard Jr., DeMario Tolan, Donovan Kaufman, Jayson Jones, Nehemiah Pritchett

Second Team

Keionte Scott, Caleb Wooden, Cayden Bridges, Craig McDonald, Cam Riley, Mosiah Nasile-Kite, Lawrence Johnson, Justin Rogers, Brenton Williams, Wesley Steiner

Special Teams

Alex McPherson was perfect on field goals from 40 yards in.

Other thoughts:

- Running backs were being put through a drill where 3 coaches tried to hit them with a pad as hard as possible. It was focused on not fumbling. Didn't see one player fumble in that time.

- Ron Roberts (DC) was working a lot with the EDGEs.

- Ashford and Finley were both throwing some good balls

- The tempo is high-paced and the energy was quite good for the first day back from spring break.
