We were able to view 20 minutes of practice this fine Friday. Here are some observations:
- Sam Jackson made a great one-handed catch in the corner of the end zone during end zone passing drills.
- Malcolm Simmons got up in the air and snagged one right below the goal post.
- Payton Thorne was working with Jarquez Hunter. Holden Geriner was working with Jeremiah Cobb. Hank Brown with Sean Jackson. Damari Alston alternated between Payton and Holden.
- KeAndre Lambert- Smith was out there and going at full speed. He beat Kayin Lee in a drill of one-on-ones.
- Camden Brown had a nice little snag in the one-on-ones.
- Champ Anthony and Kensley Louidor-Faustin both had really good snags/catches in a ball read drill.
- JC Hart made a really good play against Perry Thompson to knock the ball out.
- Jay Crawford beat Caleb Burton in a one-on-one.
- Jerrin Thompson and A'mon Lane-Ganus had a nice defensive set against a duo of receivers. You could still see some of the inconsistency from Lane-Ganus because on one he totally messed up his coverage. Charles Kelly was quick to correct him.
- Kayin Lee had a really good pass deflection against Perry Thompson.
- Sylvester Smith held his own against Rivaldo Fairweather pretty well on a fade pass. Smith wouldn't let him get to the corner.
