We had a chance to speak to several recruits. Here are some main takeaways...
  • Ousmane Kromah is hoping to have a decision mid-September. He'll visit UGA next weekend and South Carolina the weekend after that. Auburn, Florida State and Georgia are the main programs in contention, but one is pulling away. He did not specify which one.
  • Did not get a chance to speak with Deuce Knight or Elijah Melendez. However, the belief remains the same: Auburn is trending up with Knight and a final decision is expected soon. Melendez could have a decision soon, with Auburn and Oklahoma believed to be the main ones in contention.
  • Na'eem Offord arrived toward the beginning of the first quarter. He liked the defense and was impressed. He'll be at Oklahoma next weekend (but will be there to watch his brother, who plays for Tulane). He likes Coach Crime and they treat him with kindness.
  • Cederian Morgan had a ton of fun and the way Auburn spread the ball. He's especially proud of Malcolm Simmons. Seeing freshmen get a bunch of targets was a big thing for him. Auburn's in the top group. Likely coming back within the next week or so.
  • Mack Sutter loved watching the offense work in 11, 12 and 13 personnel. It was big for him to see the offense spread the ball around. Auburn in his top five.
  • JC Anderson's first Auburn game and the atmosphere was something that stood out to him. He loved seeing how the crowd stayed until the end. Coach Ben Aigamaua talks with him everyday and he loves talking with him. The culture and how Auburn goes about things. Confident that Auburn will be a legitimate contender.
