1.Our 1st string Defense can play with anybody in league when healthy and that's huge.
2. Houston, we have a pass rush.
3. Monty Adams is a beast and came to play this year.
4. Cass M. Losing that weight made big difference...all over field .....had great game.
5. LBrs (as whole) played well....not great but good enough to make D work.
6.Lawson and Mathews are top round NFL draft picks (Mathews maybe higher) & can take control
7. New Scheme looks & produces fantastically (won us game-lucky every year we keep moose)
8.Kennion looked like and will be beast on edge...helped out greatly..watch out...gonna be a player
9. LBNL mfrs came to hit and, will swarm and punish ball carrier iow teams will fear AU D again finally. And for a new coach and new D scheme I ease static how well we executed against one of best OCs and play callers in biz.

1.HBs look great..will only get better...big key to winning last night
2.OL and SC did good to great in pass pro.....keep it up and we will get ours in Air...fear diverted...but
3. #4 Jason S. Has made great strides at WR and will be a big reason for success down Road.
4. Barber....Barber...I (along w a few others) was calling for him and he took adv of his shot...more efficient runner than Roc....wish they'd use both at same time. But oh well.
5. Duke did Duke and it was nice to have hands you can count on.

1.Although heady, Countess underwhelmed BC his athleticism lacked and didt look like SEC crnr/DB
2. Lawson didnt ton of help at op DE spot. Pee Wee played undisciplined IMO and cost us some.
3. Depth(no surprise)..when Lawson/Mathews went down we suffered more than we should(GM eesh)
4. Although BP gets credit, we played poorly against Qk screens and short passes (game plan?)
5. Where was Hosley (just got home from river so haven't read board srry if German).
6. Lil Disappointed Rudy Ford didnt show up as much.....not horrible....not real good though. (Leaving here to take my lumps and BC I still say he had a quiet (no single game changing plays or wow moments like TM had in half the snaps) although productive game (performance as while def game changing but I didn't notice before stat line published).

1. JJ.JJ.JJ......horrible decisions.not the best throws......Pussn out 1yd shy of marker.......not sure he was going through progressions....seemed to lock on and telegraph........not sure of he read/reads Def well....total disappointment.
2. Gus/RL play calling...bad 1st down calls with momentum and not attacking mid field when they were obv sending 1or both Ss seep vast majority of time.
3. Run blocking...not terrible but I expected more (maybe on me 1st game and all).
4.Melvin Ray .....but we obv need to take responsibility for jinxing him.
5. WRs not getting separation (either on them or Gus.....hopefully them BC fix is faster).
6. Kozan....looked really rusty...thought DD out played him.
7. For some reason our speed (if we have it) didnt shine in the dome like it normally does or should...effort?......execution?........personnel?........ville having good D.
8. Not taking adv of momentum when we had it.
9.. Besides great showing from Roc.......Underwhelming performance period.
Hard to tell week 1 but the Cards appeared to be a possible if not probable top 25 team by yrs end. fr QB was pretty good....real good for first game and I wish we would have chased him harder. Overall, I think O will def get on track and better and now the fn D will be there. I'm excited going fwd but we have to solve a few things. I just hope Gus can pocket the cute and didnt peak early and he has better route concepts than I saw or think. BC him being overrated is my only fear and really only thing to keep us from competing for SECC every yr......assuming we have good DC.
