I'm perfectly happy to leave to Coach Cadi and HUGH what exactly Jarquez's apparent dropoff from '22 is about. If it's some nagging minor injury, get him well, but reduce his touches. And it's patently obvious it's time to increase Cobb's touches - he's got the 'it' factor as a back. So does Battie.

But if by chance this week, HUGH decides that the abomination that was Payton Thorne (not that he got enough 'help' either pass pro, ESPECIALLY our RB's whom Cadi should run stadiums until they buy into picking up a blitzing extra rusher) on Saturday night now calls for giving the Ole Mrs. game to Robby, I expect we will see a lot more 12 personnel and heavy sets. It would allow the super scaled down offense to have a chance via read option, limited passing.

And it will allow for TWO RB's to flank # 9 (see the play Ashford scored on from the 9 yard line vs UGA, with eye candy of Hunter as lead blocker for Cobb, Robby pulls it down and dashes to glory).

In a healthy handful of those play designs, I'd like to see more of what a big bruiser like 220# Sean Jackson can do for us. As a big body, when HUGH does allow Robby to throw downfield, maybe Sean will be more willing to get a hat on the pass rusher, and there's also the option of releasing him on delayed screens. Every time I've seen't Jackson get a carry this year, he's produced positive yards, and even has some vision and forward lean. Good complement to Battie and Cobb, until # 27 returns to full form.
