Talking to these fellas after they thrashed Richmond
- Asked about Jahki, Tahaad: "It was good seeing do what he does best." Mentioned he has been a good teammate throughout everything.
- Miles Kelly on the open looks: "Having an All-American big like that who's going to demand attention like that -- we just need to hit our open looks." He added that that's part of why he came to Auburn.
- Tahaad said that Bruce emphasized how bad Auburn's defense was against Duke
- Tahaad is asked how he's always so calm, he credited his teammates for that
- Asked about Jahki's dunk and if it surprised him, Tahaad: "No." He also called that Jahki's first college body.
- Miles Kelly is asked about the Atlanta game, he said he's excited for it since he's from there, but he's been constantly asked for tickets.
- "Thought it had a chance to be a trap game... very impressed with my guys being ready to play."
- "We turned them over early and that sort of set the tone for us."
- Pearl said that Richmond focused on taking Johni away and Broome was okay with that: "give me the ball and let me swing it."
- Playing Jahki: "There was no opportunity to get him rotations in practice... to Jahki's credit and his family's credit, they understood that."
- Pearl said that CBM played 18 minutes by choice because he knew they needed to get Jahki run
- Balanced minutes: "Johni only played 23 minutes and scored 11 points and he didn't care... he's just happy with the win and ready to get to Ohio State." Pearl said that type of play is infectious.
- Inside out ball: "Richmond picked their poison... our guys hit shots."
- Mentioned that having bigs that can shoot makes them better
- Pearl said that the 5-out is something Auburn defends really well. He said that Ohio State will bring a different offense and Auburn will matchup to that
- On Tahaad: "The better the opponent, the better he plays." Pearl also added that Tahaad wants to be coached
- Pearl added that he isn't really thinking about starting Tahaad and Tahaad isn't really thinking about it either.
