Just do it, show the nation what this team is capable of when it is at nearly full strength and not down 3 scholarships and at this point playing on fumes away from home. NCAA Devil be damned. It a tragic thing to see this team having to play ball like this because of things out of their control such as injury and ineligibility.
I had a whole rant planned for those people who say this team is just not that good or "not a champion team". But it wouldn't do any good.
Either Jay or BMatt threw out 3 games in 7 days. 2 of those games on the road (take into account travel time) in some of the most HOSTILE environments in the SEC. The FL game was probably the most disappointing loss. FL was vulnerable. This Arkansas team is hot, dangerous, and damn good offensively. In addition to the games, you've to adapt to not having Mac with nearly no time to rest. It's impressive that we didn't fold and get destroyed last night.
All theses teams have been hearing all about Auburn the same as we have the past month, so when Auburn comes to their house, It's getting everyone's best shot both on the court and in the stands. Being shorthanded at this point in the regular season is the worst thing for a basketball team. Play Wiley and Purifoy and let the NCAA figure it out. It won't happen, but damn I wish it would.
At least the final game is at home, with the exception of A&M, Auburn has been unbeatable at home. Then will have nearly a week to rest, game plan and reassert itself by winning the SECT in addition to most likely sharing the regular season championship.
