Remember back when we were all upset over Gus running on first down 17 times in a row? That was nothing, folks. In fact, we ran it 22 times in a row yesterday. More specifically, we only passed once on first down against OM. Ever. That's 27 runs and one pass. Now to be fair, the running game was working yesterday. But this has been the (predictable) trend all year long. I just happened to have the stats from yesterday to prove what I was seeing. Arkansas (and other future opponents) have a better defense than Ole Miss and when we slam Tank and Jarquez between the tackles on every damn first down, they'll crush it with ease.
