My Christmas gift to myself this year is probably going to be a new gaming PC. Looking at ones that come with a 3080 since finding a 3080 by itself is difficult. What should I spend? I'm more of a console gamer, so I'm only going to play games that aren't available on consoles, like Age of Empires or Rollercoaster Tycoon. Granted I can play the current ones on the PC I have now, but it's about 10 years old, and I'm too lazy at my age to do self-upgrades, and with Age of Empires IV coming out next month I figure it's time.

Looking at them, they range from 2-4k. I am a Bunker pore, so not looking to spend more than 2.5k, because I want to get a new monitor as well.

Any recommendations? I currently have 8 GB of memory. Is 16 good, or should I go for 32? I'm not worried about SSD size as the super fast ones that can be used in a PS5 just came on the market, so I'm going to get a couple of those. Is Ryzen or Intel better for gaming?

Any other specs you can recommend, besides memory and processor?
