would you be happy, concerned or indifferent if your youngster got a Liberal Arts major?
BTW, this thread is NOT bashing Liberal Arts as ole 73 started out in Polly Sci waaaay back in the day. The foreign language requirements drove me to the fledgling Biz School.
I'm asking cause friends with kids just now graduating are wondering about viability of their kid's LA degree outside of teaching or for pre-law and/or other post graduate fields. A couple of friends have young teachers in the metro ATL area (not city of ATL) school system are already thinking of trying for an MBA and another is trying to get into the business world in corporate training programs.
Just wondering what other folks are thinking and/or hearing on this subject .....
