I know there are more important things for the Bunker to be worried about, but my home on Lake Martin just got broken into for the 2nd time in 2.5 years after over 10 years of no incidents.
We are in Windermere West and feel safe while we are there but I guess people will case the homes in the area and hit it while we are away. For now they have only taken TVs but they clearly emptied drawers looking for jewlery and weapons.
Does anyone have suggestions to prevent this from happening again? We have an alarm system, motion activated flood lights, interior lights on timers (added after the first break in), and stickers on the windows and doors that say the home is monitored with video surveilance (not true, was hoping it would be enough of a threat to prevent it again). Really it is more of an inconvenience than anything.
Again, any suggestions are welcomed.
