OT:HVAC conndensation pump ?

- trying to install new condensation pump. The old one appeared to not have wire connecting to HVAC. The 2 wires coming out of the old consdensation pump been clipped and were not connected to the A/C.

- I've connected the drain tubes to the new condensation pump and plugged it in. The power light in on.

- Am I good to go or do I need to connect the "safety switch terminals" to the HVAC?

The instructions state "connect the overflow safety switch terminals as shown in the wiring diagram. If the wiring is not present from the air conditioner, contact HVAC professional (optional, advanced)
