OK, I have a creek that runs through my front yard, and it has water in it year round. It runs through a culvert that goes underneath our driveway, and we have a short, stacked stone wall that bookends our driveway at the culvert. One of the top stones is loose, and yesterday, one of my little guys lifted the stone and a little copperhead (I think) rolled down into the creek. I went back two hours later, lifted the stone and a larger one rolled down into the creek. At lunch today, I lifted the stone with a hoe, and two of the slimy little bastages tumbled into the creek before I could hit them...I have since moved the loose stone.
Other than having an outdoor cat, can you do anything to keep them away...repellents??? Do many of them live together in a nest??? I know that I can find all of this info on the web, but I know that many Bunkerites will have the answers!!! Thanks
