As you all know, as as we reported first on Tuesday, Horace Spencer is out with a shoulder injury.
We strongly believe at this hour that the sophomore will be out for the remainder of the 2016-17 season. The injury creates some real urgency at power forward, where Danjel Purifoy has been injured and just so-so while playing through that ankle injury. His backup may have to be a revolving door of T.J. Lang, Mustapha Heron and LaRon Smith.
We're also hearing that Lang has been sick, so that may put his availability in doubt for Auburn's trip to Oxford this weekend.
