Are we improved, flat or down from last year?

Offensive coaching - 📈 Philip Montgomery sucks and Hugh has a great track record as an offensive coach. Adding Nix and bringing Austin on field furthers the continuity and cohesiveness for optimal success.
Quarterback - 📈 At a minimum Thorne has a year more of experience both with Freeze as well as a year in the SEC under his belt.
Running back - 📈 Hunter, Alston and Cobb all a year older, stronger and more experienced. I agree with Freeze that the media is sleeping on this group… best in SEC if not country.
Tight end - 📈 Rivaldo, Deal, Frazier, Riley and Walker is a STRONG room. Rivaldo had to split out too much last year out of necessity. Again, one of the best units in the conference.
Offensive Line - 📈 Add Percy Lewis, move Wade inside, Lew isn’t a true freshman, Wright finally putting it together, Too Tall takes next step in year 2. Improvement at all 5 positions will have a compound effect.
Wide receiver - 📈 Our 3 leading receivers last year all played in the slot and none would make the 2-deep this year. No outside receiver had more than 10 receptions. Cam Coleman, KLS, and Robert Smith are huge upgrades over what we had. Sam Jackson V is a wild card that might surprise. Camden Brown is improved and still will have to fight to stay in the 2-deep, same with Caleb Burton III. That doesn’t even mention Perry Thompson, Malcolm Simmons or Bryce Cain who all would have started for us last year.
