loved, accepted and revered to the point that most fans/alumni at least listen -- not necessarily always agree -- to what they say?
I know Dye would say things that made people shake their heads sometimes, but we all at least listened.
Pat Sullivan what such a person of integrity and kindness, I don't know anyone who didn't at least give his opinion an ear. Many thought Sully was "too nice" for some things, but nobody every doubted his honesty or his love for Auburn. Same with Dye and Bo regarding love of AU, I think.
Is there anyone else in that class today? Is Bruce in that class? For me, after giving it some thought, Bruce (and yes, he's in that class for me) is the only person that comes to mind.
