I can never accept that Ole Miss is a threat…so what do I do?
Deny. Deny reality. I mean. We are Auburn. War Eagle. We are relevant because, we aren’t Alabama State and we haven’t been relegated to Alabama minor. It’s 98 all over again. So?
Answers are easy when you are Alabama Tech. Ole Miss is a threat so we go back to yesteryear. We go to the I formation and just take the Ole Miss coach, we win with their coach because we can’t seem to find anyone to coach Alabama. A&M and put that joke of a state - Mississippi back in their place….right at the bottom of the SEC West where they provide us a W every damn year. We beat them with their coach because here ar Alabama International we are filthy rich SEC perennial champs.
F that. It’s not real and this isn’t 98 when we were still under a cloud of the racism ghost. We are on the threshold of sending them to the bottom of the SEC and finally establishing ourselves as the dominant program within 700 square miles of Oxford. We don’t have the Tuscaloosa shadow and Georgia sphere of influence in our back yard. We have State and Memphis. Nothing stops us from only worrying about the only school that matters in the state of Alabama and that’s Alabama. Auburn is on the threshold of being passed by Ole Miss. Auburn is desperate and they are to smitten with their ego to even recognize it. But hell, now that the gloves are off and the NCAA can’t smite us it’s time to put Bama tech A&M state in our rearview mirror.
