Please don't turn this political. I'm not looking to start a debate about the stupidity of some of the things that they look for to be offended by.
My question is, how are they so influential? They obviously are able to influence corporations to conform but how? I made the assumption that these liberal groups somehow threatened companies with boycotts of their products if they didn't get in line with their agenda and that when Musk bought twitter that the bots would be exposed and the CEOs of these companies would realize that they wouldn't be losing as many potential customers as it might have previously appeared. The M&M thing is making me realize that there is still power in the hands of the easily offended.
Is it possible that the computer wizards are able to hack the phones or computers of the management of these corporations and then use the information found to blackmail them into apologizing for drawing the wrong shoes on the cartoon peanuts, etc.? If I can see all of these nude pictures of these famous actresses who have had their phones hacked then what would make me think that these CEOs couldn't have theirs hacked?
