nothing groundbreaking in this post but i wanted to launch my 2 cents into the well......

We can't sustain a drive when the D has ZERO worry about you completing a pass (except when you have '13s line and NM). the running QB is useful and makes this offense really hard to defend, but being able to convert a slant on 3rd & 6 and not bouncing it to your WR is much more useful with the personnel we currently have. I feel bad for the kid, but honestly its not going to work. I was wrong. i thought we could turn it around with him running the ball a little more (flipping the read back to the in. veer ala '10), but this weekend changed my mind. we were actually getting some good runs, putting ourselves in 3 & manageable (except for backwards pass)....but the throws were not there. and the discouraging part was the throws weren't that hard. the dropped pick 6 was inexcusable. the 10 yard throw in the dirt on Duke's 15 yard route was the same. this has snowballed, and every time any type of pressure situation is at hand i'm afraid he isn't going to be able to make the throw we need. I think White will be better, but of course there is no evidence to prove that. I do know that White has a shit ton of confidence in himself and that's more than JJ right now

play White.....
