It's so nostalgic and sad that one of the last Birmingham-the-GOAT legends has passed. RIP to a great B'ham native Wiillie Mays.
This was also a nice piece on the history of Rickwood Field ahead of the game. I grew up with so many of my relatives with great stories of things that happened in Rickwood Field with the Barons. To some of them, baseball was almost a religious experience. I really enjoyed hearing all of the various stories about the B'ham Black Barons over the years.
