It’s 19-years-old, and about 50’. Got it as a sapling in 2004 from the Forestry Dept, babied it in a pot for several years, and then planted it in our yard, thinking we’d be in the same place for the next few decades. Now it’s freakin’ huge, and we have to move.
Anybody got any idea on how much it would cost to transplant, or what company could even pull this off (Bham area)? Should I contact the Forestry Dept? I have no idea how many of the sapling diaspora are still out there, or if the University is still interested in them.
We’ve given it light rollings after big wins, and it’s truly become part of our family. It’s kinda freaking me out that if we sell our current house to bammers or mutts or corndogs, it might get updyked. Any advice (or abuse, since this is the Bunker) would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
