It was nice to be in Auburn. My season tickets are in the north end zone and other than feeling like you are in the depths of Hell during a day game in September I like where I sit. Today, I sat on the 30 yard line in the lower west stands. Kudos to ya’ll that sit here. Our stadium is an embarrassment. Only better than Vandy, OM, MSU, and maybe UT and Mizzou. The scholarship seats are now pink not orange. What Power 5 known school puts their press box in the corner of the end zone? It looks like a set of cheap condos or the conference center at the old Holiday Inn resort in Ft. Walton Beach. They have pressure washed the south end zone, but unless they do the rest of the stadium, it will stick out like a sore thumb. And last but not least is that north end zone scoreboard. Thank God I never have to see it at games. There are high schools in Alabama that have better ones. Pathetic an embarrassing. It used to be navy blue in 1998. Now it is faded gray. Come on Auburn, you can do better than this. We have one of the loudest stadiums in the country when we are playing well and have a big opponent in town. Damn we have a lot of work to do on JHS.
