Coaches and players have to adjust. Everyone says the same thing about officials, “JUST BE CONSISTENT”. Well, in my mind, they were consistent last night. Plus, coaches know these officials and know how they tend to call games. That’s why I was surprised when Bruce said they “were gonna let play tonight and be physical”. Then I saw Shows out there and I know he likes to blow his whistle. If they are calling it tight, back off.
Plus, on the flip side, if the fouls are not being called and there were only 20 called in the game, the same people would be yelling that the refs “swallowed” their whistle and complain that nothing is called.
