I think for everyone to believe so much in his abilities because of what he has done in practice and what he has done in games where he wasn't the man or leader of the team over the last few years it has to be a mental thing that comes from the pressure of being the man. He is making panicked looking decisions to me. I thought in the 2nd half when the game was obviously over he played better and made some better decisions and better throws. But again that was when all the pressure was off. So I compare it to a baseball player struggling at the plate. You just can't keep a guy as your 3 hole hitter that's not producing. You have to sit him and ease him back into the lineup gradually to gain his confidence back. JJ needs to sit. I believe you can get him involved for a series or two int he game but give White the start. If White plays well JJ may not ever get his job back but if White is average then JJ will get some opportunities. It seems to me Gus is all or nothing on his QB and I think that is a problem in our current situation. I think they view a change at QB as giving up on JJ but that does not have to be the case. Again if White takes that opportunity and plays great then maybe JJ never plays here again but if that happens then White deserved it.
