I have been playing with some very hot jerky recipes. The idea is to make it so hot that I don't just munch it all day, but nibble on it instead. I also want quality taste. I think I've nailed it. This recipe is for 3lbs of eye of round sliced at 3/8 inch, thanks Publix dude.
- 3/4 of a bottle of Dales
- 1 bottle of Tabasco Habanero
- 1 tblspn of Corn Griffins ghost paste (hottest thing I have ever tasted)
- 1 tblspn of Corns Holy Habanero (good taste, mild to moderate heat)
- 1 tblspn of Corns Habanero Reaper (the second hottest thing I've ever tasted)
- 1 tblspn Cayenne powder (adds more heat than you think)
- 2 cups water
- 1 tspn Cure
Lots of Habanero in this recipe. Habanero is a great taste for jerky.
