Talked to several folks in the know this afternoon. On KJ Bolden, I think it's legitimately close between Auburn, FSU and UGA and could shift in anyway in the next 24 hours. KJ is also keeping things close to the vest, which makes it difficult to get firm intel. The NIL folks from his finalists are definitely involved in this and could play a fairly significant role down the stretch.
On Jalewis Solomon, I was told this afternoon that it's close. My belief is that he has told USC he's going there but AU doesn't believe it's over yet and that they can still change his mind. We'll see, but I'm changing my lean to the Gamecocks for now.
Overall, I wouldn't be surprised if AU went 0-2 or 1-2 tomorrow. I would be a little surprised if AU went 2-0.
I do really like AU's chances with DL TJ Lindsey and OL DeAndre Carter right now and believe a commitment from one or both could come in the next 1-2 weeks. I was also told there were "five more" that AU feels really good about right now but no further elaboration on those at the moment.
Lastly, you now know that Jarquez Hunter was spotted at Woltosz today (twice actually), which leads me to be cautiously optimistic in his return to the team. I have no timetable on that at the moment and no guarantees.
