My dog died last night

Sudden heart attack. I let her out to go to the bathroom before bed like we always do, and she didn’t come back. She had collapsed in the back yard. It was too late when I got her to the emergency room. Anyone else lose a dog unexpectedly? I don’t think I’ve accepted that’s she really gone yet, sweetest dog I’ve ever had.
