The Einsteins on the Bham city council voted to raise the minimum wage to $10.10 recently, and the state legislature just said no mas. By my (probably incorrect) calculation, such an increase would cost the typical restaurant business that might pay 300 minimum wage hours per week about $50K per year when you factor in payroll taxes.

Would it be possible to have an intelligent discussion without the typical ad hominem remarks here regarding the concept of the minimum wage?
