Does anyone know if there are any plans to use Truitt as the speed back, in addition to his WR and ST roles?
I'm trying to think if we have anyone else to use in that role. I know its impact has diminished a bit as DCs have adjusted schemes since Gus arrived in the SEC, but it is still a valuable situational role...especially if the speed back can catch the swing pass out of the backfield, a la OMac in 2010 Iron Bowl*, 3rd Quarter, which opened everything up in the second half.
*Still one of the best halftime adjustments by a coach in AU football history.
