Eli used to coach at Auburn.
He is 17-19 at Mizzou so far. Lost to Auburn last season. (lol)
He worked for Bryan Harsin at that school we will not name in Wyoming or somewhere else out that way.
Eli a good dude ... good, but thinks he's a comedian. JMO

(LONG opening comments, so less time for questions. He says he's very excited about his transfer long snapper from Ouachita Baptist. I swear he actually said that.)
He says he doesn't want to answer questions and trend on Twitter.
"Gus called me last week and said Bob needs to ask the first question."
So Bob Holt from Arkansas asks the first Q ... it's about the new offensive coordinator. Will he call plays? "At the end of the season, it was clear to me that we were ineffective on the offensive side of the ball. I wasn't giving us the best advantage we could have. I needed to embrace my role more as a head coach and turn over the play-calling to someone else. I have no qualms handing it over to somebody."
Q on how often they use motion on offense. "We really believe that in order to use the wide zone effective, you've got to create single-gap spacing or you've got to try to create rotational force on the defense."
Q on all the Mizzou players from St. Louis, Missouri. "We believe in the best players playing for their home-state school. You're never more marketable outside of your own footprint. We're also very adamant in recruiting Kansas City. We've got to control those (cities)."
He says the best sign for this team is the retention of 18 seniors choosing to come back.
Q on how AI affects college football. "I have no thoughts on AI in college football."
Q on the defensive line. (Meh.)
Q on a WR and a QB from ... the War Rapport? Those guys are not from our area? (Meh.)
Q on uniform NIL legislation. "Yeah, uh, I'm going to let the administration and the presidents and the ADs and the commissioner work on that side of it."
Q on what he's expecting from his transfers. (Meh.)
Q on which position groups have improved the most. He says WRs must improve the most, but didn't actually say they'd improved the most.
Q on a guy named Sam Horn, who plays baseball and football. (Meh.)
