Sooooo, I finished a finance degree after many years of house building/renovating/flipping. I was desperately pursuing bond sales, but with the greatest of allies, found no entrance. It is simply a bad market for bonds. I want to explore the financial market as a profession, as opposed to casually playing with the market as is my experience. I have genuine interest in the field, and intend to pursue it. The next priorities will be insurance, and financial planning of any kind. Here's the kicker. Out of nowhere, I have received interest to join local builders, but have other offers that have me Luke warm at best. I have a long time friend that I'm meeting with next week to look at his "opportunity" to join a business that makes "high end" closet shelving and dividers. The idea is that the units will be mostly universal, but with easily adjusted measurements and colors. I have seen this idea before, but the management and execution is what makes it work, not the quality of material. Basically, I'm just throwing out these ideas to the greatest source of feedback on the planet. Thankfully, I have enough work to pay the bills for a while until I really pursue my next goal. I have to get serious about taking the next step and thought I might get some good feedback or a laugh here. Worst case scenario, I get an insult and we have to take the post down!
