it is the middle of drivel season and I am staring down the barrel of a few days off at work so my love of rankings is going to start today.
I did a Top 10 last summer of the best concerts I have been to and that was a lot of fun (mostly for me) so I feel like writing and ranking more stuff THIS summer.
So I want to start with my beloved Metallica and considering Auburn's Marching band won the Inaugural "For Whom the Band Tolls" contest, there is a kindred spirit between Auburn and Metallica...at least I have convinced myself of that...today....for this post...because I love Metallica and Auburn.

So here are my "definitive" rankings of Metallica's Studio Albums over their illustrious 43 year career...

I am aware there will be debate here...this is my ranking and mine alone.
I promise I will not argue with anyone who disagrees because there are no wrong answers here.
