The mistake was made when they put a title on me, I'm not a conservative I'm not a liberal I'm a WAR fighter ( Ret/old/ busted)which means I look for the best way to get the job done even if the plan is shit and all the guys don't agree.
I support the 2nd amendment and always will. Do I think someone who is mentally unstable should have a back ground check before buying a weapon yes. If someone has a distorted sense of reality and can't tell what's right from wrong and they have a criminal background they shouldn't have a gun. We have terrorist living in our neighborhoods NOW. (That's another topic) mass shootings, kids killing kids etc. something needs to be done, but it will have to be done together one man can't fix it. I do not support an executive order, this needs to be a collective decision between the lawmakers of this country. Violence is the act of people,the gun is just the means. If it's not guns it will always be something else bombs probably it's happen before, Mr. President I think you know some of those people.
Do I support or agree w/ the pres No but will I back him up, ALWAYS. I'm an American. If you have Senator or a Congressman in front of your name we expect you to act as a Statesmen not someone a year removed from high school. In case you haven't heard the American People have no faith in your abilities right now .. No faith do you really understand what that means ?!?? Learn to work together to get shit done. Hey If you need to take the negative attention off yourselves and put it on me go ahead I can take that as well. I know I'm not a politician I don't know what I'm talking about well news flash being a politician is not suppose to be a career .. Most of you have no idea what's really going on out here and we know that.
Conservative checklist: God first, keep wife happy, from the country, drive a jacked up truck, I do carry a gun, say yes ma'am, hunt,fish, drink some whiskey every now and again chase the wife around the house like a teenager, then church on Sunday. I'm not an extreme conservative, but I live my life w/ conservative values. I am not a liberal but I do like the opera ( joke) but I understand and believe in some of their principals. I'm for what ever keeps this country pushing forward so that my kids can hopefully have what we have, that means making the hard play if you truly care about where this country is going than to make sacrifices on her behalf is necessary. funny how and 18 year old kid will jump on a grenade to save the idea of this country, but our leadership skips out on simple votes. ( think about it) also PTSD is not a green light for murder. I'm sick of hearing that if you served in the military you must have a mental problem. First off there is probably some truth to that we are all a little crazy and that's ok (another joke) BUT we have a lot of our guys being Bitches! you were a soldier that means you can handle more than the average person never forget that. Having served shows people how strong you are not how weak. This is my opinion, good or bad it's mine. God Bless
