I am getting texts from people showing tweets that Pitino has removed himself from the Alabama coaching search. To be clear, he was NOT an option to receive an offer following the Marshall decision to stay at Wichita State. Sources tell me that while Alabama is still sorting through candidates and details, Pitino was NOT going to receive an offer from Alabama.
