This is going to be Bruce’s most challenging year for putting a “quality” team together. Losing Broome leaves us at best a fifth year Dylan Cardwell coming back and why would we want him to?
Moving on to power forward, we lose Jaywill (thank goodness) and return no one. Chaney Johnson is an undersized option but shouldn’t be counted on as a starter.
3 loses ChrisMoore ( who they’ll most likely ask to come back for 5th year) and Berman. String bean SF Baker shows good potential. And we’re left with an athletic undersized Freshman JHoward signee as well.
2 loses KD and that alone will be an addition through subtraction for this roster. This sadly will be our strongest returning talent as both Denver Jones and Aden will man this spot.
Depending on how Pettiford fits in at the point guard position in 2024 you’ll see he and Donaldson commingling in the 1-2 position.
