Both teams are certainly in transition with a large influx of new players/recruits/transfers. It will be interesting to see which HC has his team ready to go with such uncertainty.

Baylor will most likely start two transfers, 1 Top 8 recruit, and 2 left overs from 2022 team.

RJ Dennis 6'2' G - averaged 19.5/5.7 assists last year (SR) MAC Player of Yr from Toledo
J. Nunn 6'4" G - averaged 9/7 rebounds (JR) - transfer from VCU
J. Walters 6'5" (similar to K.George in size and hype from last year) (FR)
J. Bridges 6'9" 10/5.6 rebounds (SR)
J. Tchatchoua 6'8" 250 lb / energy guy 5/ 5 Rebounds, coming off injury riddled 2022

Has an impressive list of "foreign newcomers from African nations of Cameroon and Nigeria
6'10" 210 FR
6'11" 238 FR
6'10" 230 SOPH

Baylor will be mixing and matching all these new faces and trying to replace their top 3 scorers from last yr. George/Cryer/Flagler.

Without delving too much into AU roster, this game should provide the fans of both programs a solid idea of what each team could be capable of by the time conference season / tourneys come around. We hold a slight edge if our low post bell cows Broome/JWill can stay out of foul trouble and keep Baylor's athletes off the offensive glass. I'm sooo ready to see an AU team that can actually knock down the 3pt shot with some regular consistency.
