Let me tell you guys one damn thang. I ain’t getting any poon tang tonight. Wait what? That wasn’t the one thang. Just got done feeding the family and finishing that glass (bottle) of wine. The people that I have met here, and shared stories with cannot be replaced. The people I have been so fortunate to meet and interact with is nothing short of amazing. We raise money for those in absolute need. We support each other in any way possible. We drive miles to see each other. We cook together, and make fun of each other. If I could describe what Auburn has always meant to me, I’d wipe away the promotional headline “family” and describe it as an absolute family. What a bunch of lovable jackasses that actually care. Do we care about football, and basketball? Absolutely. There is a brotherhood here that has let me lean on them and asked me for leanings when I can provide that. We joke about the creed, but read it again. Auburn is alive with people that care so much about each other and how we live. As a child I felt the difference. You think maybe you are just biased because of relation and maybe proximity. That’s far from reality. I have been fortunate enough to see education and coaching here up close in action from the viewpoint of a child to an adult. We have good things headed our way in many directions. Don’t forget what makes us great. Just wanted to say thank you to my brothers that take on everything with me good or bad. So thankful for my bunker family. Wait, might get some booty after all. Lady Bob is in the shower. That’s the sign.
