the storms and the tractor they used destroyed any hopes of the yard making a comeback.
I'm going to sod over the whole thing but want some advice.
My backyard is centipede. Does very well back there.
My front yard was St. Augustine - for various reasons it hasn't fared well.
Those grasses are very similar in appearance - broad-leaf runners. I'd like to keep the same appearance but not sure if St. Augustine is my best option.
I need a grass that is somewhat shade tolerant . I thought that St. Augustine was the best option in the broad-leaf runner variety, but not so sure any longer.
Anyone have any suggestions and know of a good sod company around the Auburn/Alexander City area?
Tia!
