My yard is all Bermuda and for the areas that get sun, it looks great thanks to proper maintenance and upkeep. However, my backyard and tiny ass side yard off my porch are struggling due to no direct sunlight at all really. It’s mostly turning to mud and muck at this point with little to no grass growing after a few years. My friends have same floor plan down the road and they dropped about 5k last year to repair it all and add pavers/flower beds in place of their non-growing sod.
What options do I have? I’m fine with re-seeding with something more shade-friendly, but worried how that will interact as it transitions under my fence into the front yard which looks great.

Don’t wanna spend a ton as I’m selling this house in the near future.
TIA
