Last 3 defensive coordinators at AU are three of the most respected

in the country. Our problems on D are about a serious lack of talent and poor recruiting evaluation and choices. Our LBs are the worst in the SEC and have no depth behind them. Without Lawson we have the worst defensive ends in the SEC. Our DTs 1 through 4 are in the bottom half of the SEC. Defensive backs are average at best in coverage and worse against the run.
