Thorne is just an average QB who only looks marginally better due to better WR talent, but he lacks the consistency to make plays when it’s needed. His short to mid-level throws are just not good.
And once again an Auburn defense makes an average opposing QB look like Joe Montegna… DBs still won’t look for a ball, DL can’t generate a pass rush against seemingly inferior talent and every 3rd down is easy, no matter the distance.
Maybe they’ll settle down, but if not get ready for another disappointing Auburn football season.
